Garadget is developed and distributed by Softcomplex, Inc – a small business from Grand Junction, Colorado specializing in design and manufacturing of home automation products that bring the daily convenience and peace of mind, with benefits lasting beyond the excitement of unpacking a new toy.
We designed Garadget in response to a real-life necessity after our lead engineer forgot to close his garage door overnight and had to deal with the nasty mice situation the following days. After several more garage induced headaches and following the extensive market research the decision was made to create an open-source, easy-to-install garage controller for existing door installations.
The product was successfully funded on Kickstarter and Indiegogo and fulfilled and launched on the general market in Summer 2016.
Today we continue working on Garadget improvements, apps for new devices and home automation integration options.
